Tree health and condition assessments. Is the tree declining, diseased or under stress? We assess its health, structure, vigour, pests and disease, and give practical recommendations to improve its condition and extend its useful life. Where needed, we add soil and leaf testing.
Tree risk assessments (QTRA and ISA TRAQ). We use QTRA and ISA TRAQ methods to quantify the risk from a tree near a house, driveway, footpath or play area. The report sets out proportionate risk mitigation actions, so you can manage the risk while keeping the tree wherever possible. See Tree Risk Assessments.
Damage-to-infrastructure assessments. If a tree is suspected of damaging footings, walls, paving, driveways or pipes, we provide an independent, evidence-based assessment of the tree's role. Where it helps, we add non-destructive AirSpade root investigation. The report covers practical options such as root barriers, engineering solutions and repairs, as well as the tree itself.
Pruning specifications. We prepare pruning specifications to AS 4373-2007. They show which branches are to be pruned and why, so the work can be approved and carried out properly by your chosen contractor.
Neighbour tree assessments. If a neighbour's tree is affecting your property, we give you an independent, factual assessment you can use to discuss the issue.
AIA and development reports. For an Arboricultural Impact Assessment for a development, such as a new driveway, pool or extension, see AIA and Project Arborist. AIAs start from $880 + GST for one tree on a basic development proposal. ArborCAD Tree Protection Plans and larger or complex sites are quoted separately on your plans, with a fixed quotation within 24 hours.
We Represent the Trees, so our reports aim to keep healthy trees in the landscape. Removal may be recommended only as a risk mitigation action, or where a tree is causing damage to infrastructure. Any tree removal requires an offset (replacement planting) strategy in line with the relevant council's DCP.
