Most consents with retained trees require a project arborist to be engaged before work starts, with certification at set hold points. Missed or poorly documented hold points can hold up your Occupation Certificate. We make sure that doesn't happen.
- Pre-commencement: we certify that tree protection is installed to the Tree Protection Specifications and Plan.
- Supervision: we oversee excavation, demolition, pier holes and service trenches within the TPZ, and root pruning to AS 4373-2007 where it's approved.
- Monitoring: we inspect at the critical stages set by the consent and AS 4970:2025, and provide photographic compliance reports.
- Variations: we update the TPS and TPP when the design or construction method changes.
- Final certification: we provide the compliance certificate for the OC.
We keep records in the format certifiers and councils expect. If we prepared the AIA, the same arborist certifies the job.
